Responsible Service of Alcohol

People engaged in the service, sale and supply of alcohol are required to undertake this training program.

Learn about problems associated with alcohol and excessive consumption, alcohol and the law, the question of who is responsible for RSA, facts about alcohol, improving the atmosphere of your premises and handling difficult customers.

New Entrant Training

Most new liquor licence applicants are required to complete New Entrant training (as well as a Victorian Responsible service of alcohol course).

The aim of New Entrant training is to provide an overview of Victorian liquor licensing law and associated issues. This will enable licensees to comply with their legal obligations and contribute to minimising alcohol-related harm in the community.

First Aid

This industry flagship first aid course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty. It is suitable to both people in workplaces is also known as seniors first aid or first aid level 2.

Most workplaces require a specific number of people to successfully complete this qualification. must MGT recommends, in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that first aid skills are renewed at least every three years and CPR skills every 12 months.

CPR

This course provides the skills to recognise and then manage a patron who is unconscious and is not breathing. CPR is a lifesaving technique which can sustain life until emergency services arrive. Must MGT recommends, inline with Australian Resuscitation guidelines, that CPR skills are re-certified every 12 months.
